HAPPY BIRTHDAY Danny Nicoletta!
Danny is photographer I look up to. He is well known for documenting Harvey Milk’s rise and beyond in queer San Francisco culture. It all started in 1974 while as a young teen Dan was hired by Harvey Milk to work at his now-infamous Castro Camera store.
I photographed Danny in his home studio in San Francisco in 2009.
