AMOS MAC ARTIST TALK - ITHACA COLLEGE’S HANDWERKER GALLERY - THURSDAY

I will be at Ithaca College’s Handwerker Gallery this Thursday March 27th at 6pm to talk about my work and show many photos on a large screen. There will be a Q+A afterwards. You should come if you are in the Ithaca area and say hi even though I’m shy.

(Bonus: Work that I made with Juliana Huxtable is in the Strange Bedfellows exhibition currently up in Handwerker Gallery. Strange Bedfellows is a nationally traveling exhibition and catalogue exploring collaborative practice in queer art making.)

Throwback to my collaboration with (2014 Whitney Biennial artist) Zackary Drucker for Translady Fanzine. In this photo she’s wearing her father’s old high school gym shirt. Syracuse, NY.

WHAT’S UP WITH AMOS MAC AND JUSTIN BIEBER?

AHDM4U had me dish about my teen magazine collection & how I only take photos of my cats now not really but kind of.

Portraits I took of poet and Buzzfeed editor Saeed Jones are now live over at AHDM4U in their new HEARTTHROB issue!

9 THINGS YOU NEVER KNEW ABOUT SAEED JONES.

We took these at Dave & Buster’s in Times Square… the same one where Beyoncé had her album launch, heyyyy.

"Personally, I don’t like labels or put myself in a box, so I just go by Dominic. It’s who I am, but if I had to pick a label, I guess a man of trans experience could fit."

I photographed Dominic in Atlanta while I was there for the Southern Comfort Conference. We met up at my hotel and went right next door to shoot against this cement wall behind the Walgreens.

(This photo ran as part of my PolicyMic piece).
